Maureen

Prior to joining Towler & Associates, CPAs and while raising a young family, Maureen worked for many years as a secretary/receptionist/bookkeeper in the construction industry, and as a purchasing/receiving agent and sales representative for home medical supplies and equipment.

Maureen started working part time with the firm in 2002, while also working other jobs, and as a sole proprietor. She enjoyed working at the front of the office as the receptionist and meeting the clients, but decided she wanted to get back into accounting. She has worked full time for many years helping the clients with their bookkeeping, as well as preparing both their personal tax returns, corporate returns, and financial statements.

She lives in North Vancouver with her husband Brent (and their cat Maya), and feels lucky to have their sons Wesley, Kyle (Savanah), daughter Tanya, and granddaughter Alice living close to them! While not at work she loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoying the great outdoors, and when she has a chance, travelling to warmer destinations.
